U. S. Steel Reschedules Earnings Release, Conference CallPRNewswire PITTSBURGH, Jan. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- United States Steel Corporation (NYSE: X) announced today that the release of its financial results for fourth quarter and full-year 2001 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 29 in connection with the spin-off of U. S. Steel from USX Corporation at year-end 2001. The results were previously scheduled for release on January 25. U. S. Steel noted that it had released an updated outlook for the fourth quarter on January 18. The company also announced that its fourth quarter conference call with securities analysts will be rescheduled from January 25 to Tuesday, January 29, at 2 p.m. EST.
