Met-Chem Canada Awarded Engineering Contract for Duck PondPRNewswire Met-Chem Canada Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been awarded an Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) contract by Aur Resources Inc. for the surface construction component of the CA $92 Million Duck Pond Project mine and milling facility in Newfoundland. The copper-zinc project, located in the central part of Newfoundland, will have a capacity of producing at a rate of 1,800 tons of ore per day. Met-Chem is a consulting engineering company established in 1969 to provide all phases of mining, mineral processing and engineering services throughout the world. From its headquarters in Montreal, Met-Chem offers its clients technical assistance in feasibility studies, basic and detailed engineering, project and construction management, training, start-up, commissioning and operations assistance.
